Consent is Bae
1 in 7 students have experienced a serious physical or sexual assault during their time at University
(NUS Hidden Marks Research Report). In response to this shocking statistic, Queen’s University
Students’ Union launched the Consent is BAE campaign to create a healthy understanding
of consent among students.
Disable The Label
1 in 10 students at Queen’s University have a disability - virtually all of us will
know someone with a disability (visible or invisible). Disable the Label aims
to raise awareness about the breadth of disability, challenge perceptions
people have about disabilities and reinforce that labels are NOT for people.
Rag & Shag
A combination of RAG (Raise & Give) and SHAG (Sexual Health Awareness & Guidance) week is about discussing all things sexy, whilst raising some money for RAG charities.
